Can U get your property or equity back after foreclosure auction?

My clients property in foreclosure was just auctioned yesterday. A buyer already had comitment and was supposed to close witin the next 7 days. Re-instatement cheque was not accepted cos it was said to be too late.
Is there any other option left for the homeowner? He has about $65,000 equity in this deal and all the familys life savings will be gone!
Also, what happens when a property is sold at a foreclosure auction for more than the amount owed? Does the homeowner gt back the excess funds?

    yeah of the person that brought it decides to sell it and you buy it back but I mean no it is kind of hard.

    "Uw klant"? U weet niet wat te doen in deze situatie en u bent die hen vertegenwoordigen? Om hen te helpen, vertel hen dan het huren van een advocaat. Misschien is de advocaat kan helpen hen aanklagen u voor die hen vertegenwoordigen in een situatie waar je hebt geen idee wat te doen.

    unfortunatley Twój klient jest w poważnych kłopotach. od domu nie jest już uważane za nich (co się stało, kiedy rozpoczęto postępowanie forclosure) nie mają prawa do tego majątku, który już zawiera nadmiar funduszy. że dom należy do banku.
